Metzgers is looking for an Offset Press operator that enjoys helping our customers with their high-quality printed products such as books, magazines, calendars, and catalogs.

Preparing the press for printing by loading plates and paper and assuring ink settings are correct and match specifications.
Reading and understanding work orders.
Operating the press and monitoring the print process.
Matching color to the proofs.
Checking proofs/samples and continually checking the quality of printed materials to ensure customer specifications are met.
Keeping the presses in good working order.
Preforming maintenance on presses.
Removing, stacking, and packing printed material in various stages of completion on pallets as it accumulates on machine.
Troubleshooting print and equipment issues.

What you will need to be successful:

High school diploma.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of industry experience.
Offset print experience is strongly preferred.
Able to comprehend and apply basic mathematical principles and use a calculator and technology.
Good attendance is required.
